Solutions Section Redesign

I led the redesign of the product Solutions pages on a SaaS website with the goal of enhancing user engagement and increasing conversion rates. Using a flexible Agile approach with the Kanban method, our team met weekly to review progress and quickly adapt to evolving priorities—guided by continuous user data insights and shifting business needs.

Before the Redesign:

Understanding the Challenge

Website users faced challenges navigating the Solutions section, leading to poor search rankings and limited contribution to key business objectives.
Poor content structure and readability of the Solutions pages, unappealing UI, poor use of images, missing important keywords for non-branded search, meta tags, image alt tags, low quality of content all contributed to the poor performance of the website.

Managing the Redesign:

Crafting a Solution

I led the UX audit and redesign of the Solutions section of the website, collaborating closely with the development agency, product team, content writers, and creative team to deliver a fully reimagined page template. I also contributed to organic keyword research and analyzed web analytics to inform design decisions. Once the new template was finalized, I coordinated implementation with developers and managed the rebuild of the section end-to-end. Six months post-launch, we conducted a performance evaluation to assess impact and optimization opportunities.

Our Strategy

Our strategy addressed key issues across On-page SEO, Off-page SEO, and Technical SEO. While the development team implemented technical improvements, I led the On-page SEO efforts. Using insights from Google Analytics, Google Search Console, Looker Studio, and Qualtrics, we restructured the Solutions pages to enhance both search performance and user engagement.

How We Did It

  • Added targeted SEO content
  • Optimized the header section above the fold
  • Replaced outdated illustrations with a modern visual style
  • Incorporated backlinks and compelling CTAs
  • Implemented a high-converting page structure designed to guide users through the funnel: value proposition above the fold, concise lead with social proof, customer reviews, benefit-driven highlights, a standout testimonial, how it works section, customer success story, qualifications panel, FAQs, and a strong final CTA.

Using insights from Google Analytics, Google Search Console, Looker Studio, and Qualtrics, we restructured the Solutions pages to enhance both search performance and user engagement. This included adding targeted SEO content, optimizing the header section above the fold, replacing outdated illustrations with a modern visual style, and incorporating backlinks and compelling CTAs. Managing the Project
I established due dates and deliverables, facilitated regular progress update meetings, and continuously re-prioritized work across individual pages to align with campaign timelines, business objectives, and available resources. Managing multiple pages in parallel, I coordinated efforts across teams to ensure all pages were completed and launched simultaneously for a cohesive and timely release.
Managing the Team
I maintained momentum through regular check-ins, acknowledging team contributions and fostering collaboration. Before launch, I created a centralized feedback document and invited input from web team members who hadn't been directly involved. This led to an additional iteration that significantly enhanced the quality and impact of the Solutions section.
Measurable Success
Six months post-launch, the updated UX and SEO of the Solutions pages delivered measurable improvements across key performance indicators: a 30% increase in page views, 15% boost in scroll depth, 14% increase in user engagement, and a 13% reduction in bounce rates. Additionally, page load times decreased by 13%, and conversions rose by 15%, demonstrating the impact of a data-driven, user-focused approach.
Lessons Learned
I appreciated the opportunity to manage a large-scale, cross-functional web project using an Agile approach with Kanban methodology in Asana. This framework enabled our team to adapt quickly based on user insights and continuously realign priorities with evolving business objectives throughout the project lifecycle.
